Good news for Danny Farquhar, the White Sox reliever who suffered a brain hemorrhage from a ruptured aneurysm at Guaranteed Rate Field.
The 31-year-old was discharged from Rush University Medical Center on Monday and is resting at home with his family, Sox officials said in a news release.
Dr. Demetrius Lopes is ordering Farquhar to use the rest of this season to fully recover from the brain hemorrhage but expects Farquhar to be able to pitch again.
