 Friday, Feb 2 If spring training begins, but there are no baseball players present, did it really happen? That scenario isn't too far-fetched: One prominent baseball agent suggested that players boycott to send a message to owners about alleged collusion. "There is a rising tide among players for radical change," Brodie Van Wagenen tweeted today. "A fight is brewing." You see, it's been a slow offseason. Big names like Jake Arrieta, Yu Darvish and Van Wagenen's client Todd Frazier are still free agents. So collusion? Or just teams saving for 2019 (hello Bryce Harper!). Paul Sullivan writes that it's debatable that player outrage is that high. Either way, the Cubs and White Sox both packed up their trucks for Arizona. Stay tuned. |
