Democratic governor candidate J.B. Pritzker said he wasn't his "best self" in that 2008 phone call with then-Gov. Rod Blagoejvich in which the two men discussed African-Americans who could potentially fill Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat.

But what about during that 2012 TV interview about Obama? Or on Tuesday, when he walked back what he said in that interview? Was Pritzker his "best self" then?

Chicago Democrats, where's your outrage for local politicians?
