The Bears opted for defense over offense in the first round, picking up the linebacker with a "great burst." And c'mon, it should be a rule that the Butkus Award winner has to play in Chicago. Bears. Butkus. Ditka. Smith said it's "going to be insane" to play alongside his former college teammate Leonard Floyd. Fun fact: At No. 9, Floyd was the highest-drafted linebacker in Georgia history — until last night, when Smith went No. 8. Another fun fact: GM Ryan Pace tried to trade up later in the first round, to no avail. Let's see what he has up his sleeve in Round 2 and 3 tonight (and 4-7 on Saturday).
