The announcement came after a week-long search process that included 6 interviews from Halas Hall to Minnesota to New England to Kansas City (think of all those airline miles!). In the end, Bears GM Ryan Pace decided not to play it safe with his selection of Nagy, a 39-year-old offensive coordinator with no head coaching experience. Steve Rosenbloom writes that Pace is betting his job on the job Nagy will do. Wow, that Andy Reid endorsement must have been something (Note to self: Put Reid as a reference on our imaginary resume).
