 Delay of game …Monday, Apr 9 Inclement weather -- OK, a snow-filled Wrigley Field -- forced the Cubs to push back their home opener opener against the Pirates to Tuesday. "On the way out I had no idea if I was going to Cubs Convention or opening day, so I thought it was the right thing to do," Cubs manager Joe Maddon said of the decision to postpone. Still, all was not lost.
