A northbound Lake Shore Drive bridge that was closed as a result of two cracked steel beams that support the roadway has reopened in time for the Tuesday evening rush hour, city officials said.
All lanes were reopened on the bridge as of 1:20 p.m., according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.
