Chiefs OC Matt Nagy, Patriots OC Josh McDaniels, Vikings OC Pat Shurmur and Eagles QB coach John DeFilippo are on the docket. GM Ryan Pace will be holding court for those Q&As — with an assist (reportedly) from Bears chairman George McCaskey and team president Ted Phillips. That sounds like the football version of "Meet the Parents," says Steve Rosenbloom. It might not necessarily be wrong to have a team chairman and team president take part in the interview process — unless it's THAT chairman and THAT president with THAT recent awful history. Which begs the question: Do the Bears have the right sales pitch this time around? |
