Thursday, Feb 1 Let's recap Nikola Mirotic's week, shall we? Tuesday, after rejecting a trade to the Pelicans, he flew with the Bulls to Portland. He then practiced with the Bulls for their Wednesday night game against Portland. Then, he was sent to the hotel … to watch the Bulls' game against Portland (don't look a score, trust us). Then, a deal was put in place to trade him today to ... the Pelicans. That's just so Bulls, writes Steve Rosenbloom. Add it to the list of memorable Niko moments. Included: Getting punched in the face by a teammate and losing 18 pounds after two surgeries. Geez, sorry to leaving Chicago, are ya? |

| Finally, the offseason signing Cubs fans have been waiting for happened: Peter Bourjos inked a minor-league deal. Oh, Yu wanted Darvish? Keep waiting. And for ex-Sox Ron Kittle, it's all about the (World Series) ring. |
