A CTA bus crashed in the Goose Island neighborhood sent at least 15 people to area hospitals, two of them with serious injuries, officials said.
According to a tweet from the Chicago Fire Department, two of those injured were considered in critical to serious condition while the remaining 13 were in fair-to-serious condition. The crash took place about 1:45 p.m. near the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Peoria Street and sent the CTA bus into a light pole, where it stopped.
