Dangerously cold temperatures expected starting Thursday

Jan 24, 2019  BREAKING NEWS  Chicago-area residents will want to bundle up as arctic air mass Thursday brings single-digit temperatures that will last for several days Thursday, January 24, 2019, 8:11 AM CT Temperatures are expected to drop Thursday from around 22 degrees to 7 below zero, creating dangerously cold conditions that will still be felt during the Friday morning commute, said Kevin Donofrio, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service. Wind chill values will dip to 20 to 30 degrees below zero from Thursday night to early Friday.
